Captain Clark has been navigating the "Safari Rose" around the deep pristine waters of Lake Tahoe for over seven years. He is no stranger to marine life & adventures at sea. His nautical experiences prior to calling South Lake Tahoe, CA home has give him bountiful stories to tell.

He has traveled from Canada to Panama doing yacht deliveries & also has spent much time in the waters of Mexico, Alaska & the Baltic Sea. Captain Clark is an ordained minister & enjoys performing beautiful ceremonies on the lake.

Captain Chris Larson

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Captain Chris has called Lake Tahoe home since 1999.  "Not too many places in the world afford you the luxury of spending your summers on a beautiful lake like Tahoe, and your winters on the ski slopes" says Chris.  And that is why he hasn't left.  Captain Chris spent most of his younger years on the waters of the Puget Sound recreating.  At the age of 16 he began his commercial  fishing career in the Bering Sea of Alaska with his father. He also spent time in Florida and Mexico crewing on some private yachts. Captain Chris is an ordained minister and able to perform marriages in both California and Nevada.

Captain Denise Miller

Captain Denise is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, where her love for boats and sailing began when she was 14 years old. Captain Denise moved to Lake Tahoe in 1980, and has been proud to call it home ever since. Through the 80’s she raced sailboats locally and in 2001 became a USCG licensed captain. Captain Denise joined Woodwind Cruises in 2005 and  she is an ordained minister in California, and enjoys performing weddings on Lake Tahoe.

Denise has spent extended periods of time traveling and living aboard private yachts with her two daughters, in the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, Borneo and the Greek islands of the Ionian Sea. “Even though I’ve been to so many beautiful places, Lake Tahoe is still one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen”.
